Slater Creek is a family-owned and operated business. We are Linda and Gary Graef and we welcome you to our 30-acre ranch in Florissant, Colorado. Golden Retrievers are family to us and have been for over 30 years. Our love for golden retrievers has only grown over the years and we are blessed to do what we love for a living. The work is hard, but it is gratifying as nothing brightens up a home or brings more joy to a family than a healthy and loyal golden retriever.

We have chosen the best possible Champion Bloodlines & parents with great health certificates we could find. All of our dogs were chosen for their loving, wonderful temperaments and disposition. They are extremely responsive & affectionate. They have the perfect Golden Retriever personalities.
They are always eager to please & play whether it is having their tummies rubbed or being trained to retrieve. After having experienced the love of a quality Golden Retriever, you will never want to live without one in your home. No matter what your activities are, the Golden will be ready to go & be part of it. They also like quiet evenings by your side. We have bred and owned Golden Retrievers for more than 30 yrs. For us, Goldens is a way of life. Our Goldens are raised in a fun-loving family environment, with beautiful, safe surroundings in the mountains of Colorado.
The joys of a Golden are like no other. They can’t wait to see you and always want to be with you. They are always there for you. Their love is unconditional. That is why we love and breed Goldens. Goldens have been a big part of our lives since we were children.
We have never thought about raising anything but Goldens and that specialized focus allow us to be one of the best breeders in all of Colorado.

Our Family
We have been married since 1986 and have never been without a Golden Retriever. We have lived in Colorado since 1986 too, where we have raised 2 great kids that are now adults. Our kids help us with raising and training the dogs. Our beautiful granddaughter loves to play with the puppies too!
Our ranch in Teller County, Colorado is a wonderful place to have raised our kids and breed the best Golden Retrievers. We love the fact that we can help bring happiness to many families by supplying them with a fur ball of love.
